TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Last updated: 25 September 2026
1. ABOUT US
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made from United Bathrooms through our website.
United Bathrooms is a trading name of:
UGE Creations Ltd
Company number: 09522306
Registered in England and Wales
Registered office: 166 College Road, Harrow, England, HA1 1BH, United Kingdom
Telephone: 020 8930 8249
Email: info@united-bathrooms.co.uk
Our registered office is an office address only and is not open for customer appointments unless specifically agreed in advance.
Throughout these Terms, “United Bathrooms”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to UGE Creations Ltd trading as United Bathrooms.
2. THESE TERMS
These Terms apply to orders placed through our website. Please read them before placing an order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory rights that you have as a consumer under applicable UK law.
If you are purchasing goods wholly or mainly for business, trade, professional or commercial purposes, you may not have the same rights as a consumer.
3. PRODUCTS
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, finishes and photographs are accurate.
Product photographs are intended to provide a reasonable representation of the goods. Colours, finishes, grain, texture and appearance may vary slightly because of screen settings, lighting, photography, manufacturing batches and the natural characteristics of materials.
Natural materials including timber, stone and marble may contain variations in colour, grain, pattern and texture. Such natural variations are not necessarily defects.
Manufacturers may occasionally make minor technical or cosmetic changes to products. Any substitute or variation supplied must not materially alter the product from what was agreed with you.
Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions, specifications, compatibility and suitability for their intended installation before ordering and again before installation.
If you are uncertain whether a product is suitable, please contact us before ordering.
4. DISCONTINUED, CLEARANCE AND SURPLUS STOCK
United Bathrooms sells both current products and, from time to time, discontinued, surplus, clearance, end-of-line and older manufacturer stock.
Where a product is identified as discontinued, clearance, ex-display, surplus or otherwise subject to a specific condition, this will be stated in the product description where relevant.
Packaging on older or discontinued products may show signs of storage, ageing or previous labels. This does not by itself mean that the product is defective.
Any material known defect, damage or condition affecting the product itself will be disclosed in the product description where reasonably identifiable.
Discontinued products may no longer have matching accessories or replacement components available from the manufacturer. Customers should take this into consideration before purchasing.
5. PRICES AND VAT
Prices displayed on our website are the prices payable for the goods unless an obvious pricing error has occurred.
UGE Creations Ltd is not currently registered for VAT. VAT is therefore not charged separately on purchases from United Bathrooms and no VAT invoice can be issued.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed separately before the order is completed.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time before an order is accepted.
If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a genuine administrative, technical or pricing error, we may contact you before accepting the order and offer you the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
6. PLACING AN ORDER AND FORMATION OF CONTRACT
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods.
An automatic order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example, goods are unavailable, stock information is incorrect, a supplier cannot fulfil an order, there has been an obvious pricing or description error, payment has not been authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled goods.
7. PAYMENT
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Goods will not normally be dispatched until payment has been successfully authorised.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied with your order.
8. STOCK AND AVAILABLE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS
Products may be described as In Stock, Available to Order, Special Order, Clearance or by another availability description.
“In Stock” means that our records indicate that stock is available when the website is updated. Very occasionally, stock discrepancies may occur.
“Available to Order” generally means that the product is expected to be obtained from a manufacturer or supplier after your order is placed. Lead times shown for these products are estimates unless we expressly agree a fixed delivery date.
A product being described as “Available to Order” does not, by itself, mean that the customer's statutory cancellation rights are excluded.
Where a product is genuinely made to the customer's specifications, personalised, modified or otherwise falls within a statutory exception to the normal cancellation right, this will be made clear before purchase where applicable.
9. DELIVERY
Available delivery methods, charges and any applicable restrictions will be shown during checkout or agreed with you before dispatch.
Any delivery date or lead time stated on the website is an estimate unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you.
Where no different delivery period has been agreed, we will deliver within the period required by applicable consumer law.
Large or fragile bathroom products may be delivered on a pallet or by a specialist carrier.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, pallet deliveries are generally made to a safe accessible point at or near the delivery address. Drivers may not be able or required to carry large or heavy products inside the property.
Customers must ensure that suitable access is available for the delivery vehicle and that someone capable of accepting the delivery is present where required.
Please contact us before ordering if access to the delivery address is restricted.
10. DELIVERY DELAYS AND INSTALLERS
We strongly recommend that customers do not arrange plumbers, bathroom installers, builders or other tradespeople until all goods have been delivered, unpacked and checked.
Delivery dates and supplier lead times can occasionally change for reasons outside our reasonable control.
United Bathrooms will not be responsible for avoidable costs arising from a customer arranging installation before goods have been received and reasonably checked, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
11. RECEIVING AND CHECKING YOUR GOODS
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Before installation, check:
- the product received is the product ordered;
- quantities are correct;
- dimensions and specifications are suitable;
- all necessary components are present; and
- there is no visible damage.
If goods arrive visibly damaged, incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs where appropriate. Prompt notification helps us investigate the matter with the carrier or supplier.
Failure to report an issue immediately does not remove any statutory rights you may have.
Do not install a product if you have identified visible damage, an incorrect product or an obvious defect. Contact us first so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
12. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ONLINE ORDER
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you will normally have the legal right to cancel your purchase without giving a reason.
The normal cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
Where an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period will normally run from receipt of the last relevant item where required by law.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.
You may contact us at:
Email: info@united-bathrooms.co.uk
Telephone: 020 8930 8249
Post: United Bathrooms, UGE Creations Ltd, 166 College Road, Harrow, England, HA1 1BH
You may also use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, although use of that form is not compulsory.
13. RETURNING CHANGE-OF-MIND GOODS
After notifying us that you are cancelling, goods must normally be returned within 14 days.
For change-of-mind cancellations, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise.
The customer is also responsible for arranging a suitable method of return and ensuring that the goods are adequately protected during return transportation.
Bathroom products can be large, heavy, fragile and unsuitable for ordinary parcel services. Palletised products, ceramics, furniture, shower enclosures, mirrors and similar goods may require a specialist carrier.
Please contact us before returning large or fragile products so that we can provide the appropriate return address and, where possible, discuss suitable return arrangements.
Do not send goods to our registered office without prior agreement, as this address may not be suitable for receiving large or palletised returns.
14. CONDITION OF CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
You may inspect goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, broadly in the way that you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a shop.
Goods should be handled with reasonable care and returned complete with their components, accessories and documentation.
Goods should not be installed, fitted, drilled, cut, altered, used or damaged.
If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and this causes a reduction in their value, we reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund reflecting the actual reduction in value, as permitted by law.
This may apply where goods have been damaged, installed, used, altered, drilled, cut, scratched, marked, have components or accessories missing, or have otherwise deteriorated as a result of handling beyond what was reasonably necessary.
Where such treatment means that the goods have no reasonable resale value, the reduction in value may amount to the full value of the goods where legally justified.
We do not impose an automatic percentage “restocking fee” on consumers exercising statutory cancellation rights.
Where packaging has been damaged unnecessarily and this materially reduces the resale value of the product, this may also be taken into account where permitted by law.
This section applies to change-of-mind returns and does not limit your rights where goods are faulty, damaged when supplied, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
15. REFUNDS FOLLOWING CANCELLATION
Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the payments due to you in accordance with applicable law.
This includes the basic outbound delivery charge where the law requires it. If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, where permitted by law.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
16. GOODS EXCLUDED FROM CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATION RIGHTS
The statutory right to cancel may not apply to certain categories of goods where an exception provided by law applies.
This may include goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
We will not describe an ordinary stocked product as non-returnable merely because we had to order it from a supplier.
Your statutory rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
17. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS
Goods supplied to consumers must meet the requirements of applicable UK consumer law, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose made known to us where applicable, and as described.
If you believe goods are faulty, damaged when supplied, incorrect or not as described, please contact us promptly.
We may request photographs, product information, serial numbers or other reasonable evidence to help us investigate the issue.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
18. INSTALLATION
Bathroom products should be installed by an appropriately competent person and, where relevant, in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable regulations.
Customers and their installers must check products before installation.
Installation should not proceed where there is an obvious defect, visible damage, incorrect item, incorrect dimensions or missing component.
Installation, cutting, drilling or modification of a product may make it more difficult to establish the cause of subsequent damage. However, nothing in this section removes statutory rights relating to goods that were faulty when supplied or otherwise failed to conform to the contract.
United Bathrooms is not responsible for faults or damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidental damage, inappropriate cleaning products, failure to follow manufacturer instructions or unauthorised modification.
19. DIMENSIONS AND INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Dimensions shown on our website are normally based on manufacturer information or measurements reasonably available to us.
Minor manufacturing tolerances may occur.
Customers and installers should not construct fixed openings, drill permanent fixing positions, cut worktops or make other irreversible alterations solely from website drawings or nominal measurements where checking the physical product first is reasonably possible.
Where precise dimensions are critical to an installation, please contact us before ordering or verify them from the physical product/manufacturer's current technical documentation.
20. WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES
Some products are supplied with a manufacturer's warranty or guarantee.
The length and terms of manufacturer warranties vary between brands and products.
A manufacturer's warranty is additional to, and does not replace, any statutory rights you may have against us as the retailer.
Warranty claims may require proof of purchase and, where appropriate, evidence that the product was installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidental damage, neglect, inappropriate cleaning or maintenance, normal wear and tear or unauthorised modification may fall outside a manufacturer's warranty.
21. TITLE AND RISK
Risk in goods supplied to a consumer passes in accordance with applicable law, normally when the goods come into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to take possession of them.
Where you independently appoint a carrier that was not offered by us, different statutory rules may apply.
Ownership of goods will pass in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the relevant sale.
22. OUR LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
If you are a consumer, we supply products for private domestic use unless otherwise agreed. If you use products for commercial or business purposes, different terms and legal rights may apply.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
23. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control, provided this does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Such circumstances may include severe weather, transport disruption, supplier or manufacturer disruption, industrial action, fire, flood, accidents, government restrictions or major network/system failures.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effects of such circumstances.
24. WEBSITE INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current.
Occasionally, information concerning stock, specifications, prices, photographs or product availability may contain errors or become outdated.
Where an error materially affects an order, we will contact you and explain the available options.
25. PERSONAL INFORMATION
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Our Privacy Policy is available separately on our website.
26. COMPLAINTS
If you are unhappy with a product or our service, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter.

27. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The Terms applying to your purchase will generally be those made available to you when your order was placed, subject to any changes subsequently agreed between us or required by law.
28. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and rights available to you under applicable law, including any rights concerning where proceedings may be brought.
29. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
